At the age of 18, Murasaki became the youngest published author in her family. She has written more than ten books which she hopes to publish in the near future. Her current book "When Darkness Falls" is for sale on Amazon and a wide range of other booksellers.
The young novelist maintains a blog at The Cat is Speaking, and has a profile on Authonomy, by Harper Collins. Online editions of two of her books are available on Smashwords.
Murasaki was born in 1994 in Boston, Massachusetts, and now lives in Maine. In addition to writing, she loves swimming, networking, traveling and reading.

BOOK SYNOPSIS:It all starts on a train, when Drake Halifax reads some controversial literature. A war beckons on the horizon while he is engulfed in a world of revenge, betrayal and hatred. As he seeks to put an end to a tyrannical System, he must confront private ghosts.
Part One follows Drake Halifax, a man disgusted with the depravity he sees in the cities. He embarks on a mission, recruiting his father, a distinguished member of the bar, and a young woman who finds the grass is greener on the other side. His mission ends with the death of the Arbiter, but the war has only begun.
The fight continues in Part Two, with Drake fighting to keep an ambitious woman's attempts to bring his campaign to a halt. When his mother is killed at the end of the story, Drake resolves to begin the true battle and face the demons that are on his side.
Part Three showcases Drake's struggle to bring the cities under his control and depose the corrupt judges of each city. He must make sacrifices to reach the end and to call himself the new Arbiter. Will the woman of his dreams become his or another man's? Before that, will loyalty prevail or will revenge drive him to the edge of despair?
